The National HRD Network (NHRDN), Prayagraj Chapter, launched on March 9, 2024, at United University, is committed to advancing the field of human resource development. Monthly activities include webinars, industry talks, and seminars designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry needs. Highlights have included sessions on navigating the corporate world, stress management, and preparing for a volatile job market, each offering invaluable insights and practical guidance for career success.

Prof. Sandip Anand from Allahabad University led a session on managing stress in organizational settings. Attended by 340 students and faculty, the lecture provided practical stress management techniques and reinforced the importance of social support in the workplace.

Ms. Akansha, Partner Technology Strategist at ServiceNow, guided B. Tech students on industry expectations, learning agility, and soft skills. This interactive talk highlighted five key takeaways: environmental awareness, asking questions, mastering skills, finding mentors, and embracing change.

The board discussed an event calendar, membership expansion, and planning for an upcoming HR Conclave. Strategies for smoother event planning and greater chapter reach were developed to engage diverse stakeholders.
In collaboration with Savvy Foundation, this online seminar featured Mr. Pankaj Jain, who offered insights on studying abroad, institution selection, visa processes, and cultural adaptation. The interactive session addressed questions on application processes, scholarships, and career prospects post-study.
Themed on Agile Leadership, this conclave included sessions by Dr. Virendra P. Singh on adaptive leadership qualities and by Mr. Dhananjay Singh, who discussed NHRDN’s broader vision. Led by cyber security expert Dr. Rakshit Tandon, this workshop educated over 1500 students and faculty on cyber safety practices, covering password management, social media security, and understanding cyber laws, reinforcing the need for digital security in today’s world.

The NHRDN Prayagraj Chapter held the HR Trivia Quiz 2024, engaging 135 students in an HR-focused competition to foster professional growth. This event marks a successful step toward NHRDN's goal of promoting continuous learning and professional excellence.
